X Factor star Eoghan Quigg has married his long-term partner Amy Campbell in Las Vegas

Just over a week after popping the question in New York City, former The X Factor star Eoghan Quigg and his long-term love Amy Campbell have said ‘I do’ in Las Vegas. The newlyweds shared the exciting news on social media on Sunday, 9 March, with a video captioned: “So we’ve been keeping a little secret. What happens in Vegas…” The clip shows Eoghan and Amy during their romantic proposal in New York on February 28, before switching to the newlyweds outside a chapel in Las Vegas.

Amy looks sensational in a white dress and veil, while Eoghan is dapper in a tuxedo, as they beam, kiss and celebrate tying the knot with their hands in the air. Another video shows the pair posing outside the Little White Chapel and having fun in Vegas after getting married, set to Katy Perry’s song, Waking up in Vegas. They captioned the fun clip: “When in vegas @eoghanquigg #justmarried #vegaswedding #husbandandwife.”

Before their surprise wedding, Eoghan, 32, revealed that he had popped the question to Amy in New York’s Central Park. He captioned the video: “Today I asked my best friend to marry me and she said YES! 27.2.25.” As fans gushed over the romantic proposal, Eoghan said: “Thank you to everyone that’s congratulated us! We are over the moon.”

The pair, who have been an item since 2015, have two children together. They welcomed son Camden in April 2023 and daughter Emmy Belle in April 2021, while Amy is also mum to children Cooper and Milla from a previous relationship.

Eoghan is best remembered for his stint on The X Factor in 2008, where he came third behind JLS and winner Alexandra Burke. At just 15, he was known for his “baby face and crazy hair.”

Reflecting on his time on the hit show last year, Eoghan said he has “so many fond memories” of being a contestant on it – and considers himself “one of the lucky ones” for having a good overall experience.

Despite this, he stated he would never let his own children go on reality TV – because there is a “lot more negativity around” compared to when he was on the show, reports Belfast Live.

Eoghan, who represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 and finished second, believes he’s found “a happy medium”. He still performs with a band at weddings, but he said that his “wee family” is now his top priority.
