“Why Stacey Solomon was in tears after a row with husband Joe Swash.”

TV darling Stacey Solomon was spotted in tears after a particularly intense therapy session with hubby Joe Swash, with The Sun on Sunday snapping pictures of the teary moment last November.

Images reveal Stacey, 35, seeking solace from a TV crew member while Joe, 43, strides away.

The contretemps followed a challenging therapy appointment at Henry Centre in Westcliff, Essex, which Stacey had set up, partly to aid Joe post his ADHD diagnosis revelations.

Their BBC1 docu-series Stacey and Joe, airing next Tuesday, will give audiences a peek into their candid chat with therapist Natalie Corbett about how they communicate.

In a notably fraught scene, Joe exclaims, “All I am doing is trying to dedicate myself to my family and do everything I possibly can, every minute of the day.

“Then to sit here and listen to the fact that I am a huge problem – all I am hearing is that I am a huge problem in Stacey’s perfect life,” reports the Manchester Evening News

To which Stacey counters: “I would say this is our biggest issue in our whole relationship. I cannot say anything without you taking it so personally as an attack on you as a whole person.”

The therapy session becomes tense on the BBC show

The friction didn’t stop inside four walls; voices were raised post-session too. An eagle-eyed passer-by told The Sun at the time: “Joe came out of a building and stormed off.”

The bystander said: “He looked upset and was sitting on some steps for a while.

“Stacey came out in tears and she looked really emotional. About 15 minutes later, Joe was having an animated talk with a man. Stacey walked towards Joe in the car and shouted something. It looked tense.”

In the reality show that gives us a glimpse into the couple’s hectic life with their kids, they reflected on the incident while driving back from their therapy session.

Joe confessed: “That was horrible. I hated every second of that. Stacey chimed in: “I thought it was good. I think we should keep going as we know we can be so happy.

“Maybe our issue isn’t even anything to do with you having ADHD – do you know what I mean?”
