
Coleen Rooney has issued a heartfelt tribute to her husband on a special family occasion. The 39-year-old has been married to Wayne Rooney since 2008 and they are the proud parents of four children.
Coleen regularly shares updates from her happy family life on Instagram with her 1.5m followers. She has taken to the social media platform today to reveal it is a celebratory day for the family, as the former Everton striker is celebrating his 40th birthday. She shared a snap of the couple together, as she wished him well on the big day.
She said: “Happy 40th birthday @waynerooney …love you xxx” People took to the comments to wish the couple well as the BBC pundit celebrated his milestone birthday.

The latest episode of Rooney’s BBC podcast is in celebration of his 40th birthday. In the episode, he is joined by fellow Scouser and close friend, Tony Bellew, who brings him a birthday cake.
He was also joined by former teammates Alex Bruce and Darron Gibson. Coronation Street star Andy Whyment also appears on the episode and the soap actor revealed the football legend is a fan of the ITV show.
When asked if he would ever appear on the Cobbles, Rooney revealed he would be up for it. The Kirk Sutherland star said: “Get you in the back of shot in the Rovers.”
The Premier League also marked the birthday as they shared clips from his incredible career in the game.
