“UFC star Paddy ‘The Baddy’ McGuinness is ‘winning at life’ with his latest update.”

Paddy Pimblett and wife Laura Pimblett enjoyed some time away from Merseyside

Paddy ‘the Baddy’ Pimblett was praised by fans as he spent some time away from Merseyside. The 30-year-old from Huyton extended his winning streak in the UFC to seven when he defeated Michael Chandler by TKO at UFC 314 in April, which took place in Miami.

Since then, Paddy has climbed up to ninth in the lightweight rankings and has his eyes set on a bout with number three-ranked contender Justin Gaethje later this year. If Paddy were to emerge victorious from a bout with the American, then he would almost certainly be next in line for a shot at the lightweight title.

Away from the cage, Paddy is married to Laura Pimblett. They tied the knot in 2023 in a ceremony attended by the likes of fellow UFC star Molly McCann and singer Jamie Webster.

Paddy and Laura have twins, Betsy and Margot Pimblett, who were born last year. Over the past week, they have been enjoying some time away from Merseyside.

Paddy and Laura have been staying in Monaco. He shared a series of pictures from the glamorous city-state and captioned the post simply ‘Monaco’.

The couple visited the Monte Carlo Casino and a restaurant looking over the marina. The post received over 73,000 likes and hundreds of supportive comments.

One fan said: “Gorgeous pics guys.” Another said: “Wishing you two nothing but the best in life!” A third said: “Looking good lad.” A fourth added: “No matter how the next match ends, you can never lose when you have won in life. Keep your head up, you are amazing!”

It’s one of several holidays Paddy has enjoyed this year. He was in the UAE during Liverpool’s 5-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur on April 27 which clinched the Premier League title. On his Instagram page, Paddy revealed he had watched the game with his family at a bar in Dubai.

In June, Paddy shared a series of photos from a recent family holiday in Cyprus and said: “A lovely week away in Cyprus just chilling.

“It’s time for a few weeks of work in America now. It will be the first of many visits stateside for the babies.”

Later that month, Paddy shared pictures from various places in California, where he combined training for his next fight with a family holiday. He visited the cities of Carlsbad, Malibu and San Diego during his trip.

It appears the family enjoyed San Diego the most during the trip. While he was there last week, Paddy shared various pictures of his twins enjoying what the city has to offer in matching outfits.

In the caption, he said: “Our babies are living their best lives in San Diego.”

In a separate post, Paddy revealed the family had attended a San Diego Padres game, the local baseball team.
