Former TOWIE star Elliott Wright is set to become a dad for the fifth time, as he and his wife Sadie are expecting their third child together. The 45 year old restaurateur couldn’t contain his excitement as he took to social media over the weekend and revealed that another baby is on the way and is expected to arrive this summer.
He and Sadie shared a joint Instagram post showing their little ones, Billy, aged six, and two year old John, proudly displaying the ultrasound images. Elliott, who is a cousin to Mark Wright – himself a new dad with actress Michelle Keegan – captioned the sweet family update: “Our family is expanding. Another baby to love and adore, summer 25. Family of 7.”
Already a doting dad to Elliott Jnr, 18, and Olivia, 16, from a previous relationship, the news was met with a flurry of well-wishes from fans and celebrity friends alike.
Denise Van Outen, a close friend, couldn’t resist sharing her excitement online, exclaiming: “Omg! ! ! ! ! Congratulations this is beautiful.” Love Island’s Georgia Harrison joined in, commenting: “Congratulations xx”, reports the Mirror.
Cousins Josh and Natalya Wright also chimed in, opting for heartfelt love hearts to express their happiness at the family’s wonderful announcement. Michelle Keegan, who welcomed baby girl Palma last month with Mark Wright, sweetly said: “Amazing news so exciting.”
Elliott and Sadie – who married in 2017 and documented their wedding in a reality show – welcomed their first child together, Billy, in 2019 and John followed in 2023. However, John’s arrival came two years after the pair suffered the loss of a baby boy in July 2021, which left them both heartbroken.
Meanwhile, the Wright family has been riding a wave of joy as Mark has embraced fatherhood with the birth of his daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright.
Palma made her entrance into the world at the chic Portland Hospital in London, a favourite among celebrities for its private maternity services. The couple were elated to share their news on social platforms, expressing: “Together we have a new love to share – our little girl.”
The new parents recently shared a sneak peek into their first family trip away to plush retreat and celebrity hotspot, Soho Farmhouse. Mark, 38, took to Instagram to share a series of adorable snaps, captioning them: “In my Dad era…. trip away with my girls.”
Sweet photos showed Mark snuggled in bed with his baby daughter, her tiny hand sweetly placed on his mouth. Fans also got to see him and Michelle, 37, enjoying a sunny toast with Aperol Spritzes, celebrating their journey into parenthood. The couple’s relaxing getaway was documented through various other images, including a stylish selfie of the new parents, a peaceful country walk with Mark at the helm of the pram, and their bicycles casually parked next to the pushchair on the grass.
Another sweet snap showed Michelle stood on the balcony of their rustic accommodation in the Oxfordshire countryside with Palma resting on her chest. The former Corrie star wrote: “A little break away filled with special memories.”
