This Morning star Eva Speakman has hit back at trolls who have speculated about her husband Nik’s appearance, explaining that he has been forced to take medication
A star from This Morning has clapped back at online trolls who made nasty comments about her husband’s changed appearance, which she revealed is due to medication. The dynamic duo, Eva and Nik Speakman, are regular faces on ITV’s This Morning, offering counselling advice to viewers.
They’ve also shared their wisdom on Loose Women and Big Brother. The couple, who have been together for over 25 years, delve into human behaviour and run a successful therapy business, helping people tackle various mental health challenges. Their approach combines therapy with behavioural techniques, guiding clients through issues ranging from eating disorders to severe fears, phobias, and self-harm. Their client list includes many celebrities.
A photo of the couple with This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard was posted with the caption: “A lovely start to this week on @thismorning helping to brighten up your Blue Monday. Sadly, this isn’t the first time Nik has been accused of going under the knife. Back in 2018, he had to deny rumours of plastic surgery after a social media post suggested they’d both had work done. Nik responded at the time: “That’s a compliment that you think we’ve had plastic surgery but only had white fillings and veneers and pretty sure they won’t melt but appreciate your concern.”
The pair, who live in a nine-bed mansion in Manchester, started their week on @thismorning, aiming to brighten up everyone’s Blue Monday. One of their earliest high-profile cases was Kerry Katona, who was struggling with financial issues and addiction. Reflecting on their success, Nik said: “We got her over all those issues and she’s still without medication and drugs today. It’s the Speakman magic.”
