This week, E4 is introducing a brand new dating experiment called The Honesty Box. During the series, 12 singletons are looking for love at ‘Truetopia’, a luxurious and romantic paradise.
However, there’s a twist as the one rule is simple, do not lie. As sparks blossom along the way, each person will be tested by the Honesty Box, a state-of-the-art lie detection system.
They’ll be asked questions about how they are really feeling and all they have to do is tell the truth. A synopsis reads: “If they tell the truth, it could impact their newly formed relationships but if they lie, it will reduce the £100,000 Trust Fund.”
With a Sincerity Coach in the series, the singletons will be encouraged to discover and share their inner truth. Meanwhile, at the dramatic Truth Terrace, one of the hosts will reveal the Honesty Box results to the group.

Who is hosting The Honesty Box?
Viewers will see Vicky Pattison and Lucinda Light front the new series.
Vicky is no stranger to reality TV after finding fame on MTV’s Geordie Shore when it first aired back in 2011. Since then, she’s been a staple on many well-known shows, including the likes of Celebrity MasterChef, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! And Celebrity Dinner Date
People will recognise Lucinda Light from starring in 2024’s Married at First Sight Australia, where she won fans over with her positive outlook on life. Although she didn’t find love on the dating show, she won the hearts of the nation.
When asked what they like about the series, Vicky said: “It feels fresh, and I do like Channel 4 for that. Making TV that’s organic, and something new, because honestly, the market is a little bit saturated in terms of reality TV and it takes a lot for people to sit up and take notice these days, and I think we’ve found that formula with The Honesty Box.
Lucinda added: “It’s sharp, it’s funny, it’s deep. It’s got it all. It’s such a rollercoaster!”

How to watch The Honesty Box
You can watch The Honesty Box on E4. It airs on Monday 28th April from 9pm, with episodes lasting for an hour. It’ll air again on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
It will then air on E4 again the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
