Strictly Come Dancing finalist Tasha Ghouri has hit back at trolls accusing her of ‘taking’ her dog Luna off ex Andrew Le Page after he was recently seen in tears
Strictly Come Dancing finalist Tasha Ghouri has spoken out about her split from Andrew Le Page, after being accused by online trolls of ‘taking’ their dog Luna. The 26 year old took to Instagram to address the accusations and explain that Andrew, who recently moved back to his parents’ house in Guernsey, had left Luna with her because he couldn’t take the dog.
In a Snapchat post, Tasha wrote: “Since there’s so many horrible messages I’ve got about taking Luna off Andrew – first off, she is our dog who we got together. He is in Guernsey and decided to leave Luna here with me as he couldn’t take her, it wasn’t ideal. When he’s found a place back in the UK, we will be working out a way for both of us to see her.”

She also revealed that she didn’t want to comment on the situation but felt compelled to do so after receiving messages calling her “a horrible person, scum, etc,”. The former Love Island star added: “No-one knows what went on in our relationship behind closed doors. Don’t believe every headline you read in the press. Break-ups happen in life. Just because ours is in the ‘public eye’ doesn’t make it any different.”
Tasha ended her message by urging fans to “spread kindness – also to Andrew because he’s also been getting messages. Thank you. I won’t be answering any more on our relationship and Luna.”

Just days after Andrew shared with his followers that he’s “cried more times” this year than ever before and announced his return to his native Guernsey, he also confessed how much he “missed Luna so much” struggling to complete his Snapchat video without getting emotional. “She doesn’t even know it’s her birthday, but I miss her so much and hope to be with her again soon,” he expressed, reports the Mirror.
Love Island stars Tasha and Andrew, who met in the 2022 series alongside fellow Islanders Ekin-Su, Davide, Luca, and Gemma, marked their two-year anniversary in 2024 and welcomed their dog, Luna, into the family. The pair had even set up an Instagram account dedicated to their dream home, sharing their renovation adventures with fans.
Despite their shared milestones, the couple sadly parted ways earlier this year. Addressing the breakup, Tasha took to social media last week, stating, “I won’t be speaking on the situation – it’s a private side of my life which I’m still dealing with internally and mentally. It’s private for me and as much as I do want to share it with you all, one day I will, but I’m still processing everything that has happened and going on.”
