A gorgeous Spanish townhouse renovated by TV presenters Amanda Holden and Alan Carr is is now on the market. Following the success of their previous renovations in Sicily and Tuscany, the pair headed to the historic village of Moclín in Spain for BBC One’s Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job to reimagine a townhouse that had been uninhabited for decades.

The final episode of the series aired on March 14 and saw Amanda and Alan go all out for their final room in the elegant home, which had been unoccupied for 35 years. Following the finals of their latest renovation journey, the beautiful three-storey house is now being marketed through Granada Village & Country and featured on Rightmove.

The agents are inviting offers in excess of €245,000 for the property. Proceeds from the sale set to be donated to charity.

The restored house boasts three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a stylish kitchen, dining room and a top floor bar/living room reminiscent of a sophisticated London club. There is also a very sheltered and private patio garden with a first floor roof terrace and the option of creating more accommodation on the ground floor of the former stable.

Found on the main square, the home is bursting with local character and features a double-fronted façade with beautifully styled interiors, reflecting Amanda and Alan’s creative vision. There is a sun-soaked, Mediterranean-style roof terrace, an in-house bar and cosy communal dining space.

Ian Rutter, director of real estate agents, Granada Village & Country, knows the property well as he originally sold the house to the TV stars. He said: “This house had been empty for 35 years, and one of the attractive aspects of working with Alan and Amanda on this project was that it would breathe new life into a property right on the village square.

“Many villages like Moclín suffer from rural depopulation, as young people leave their family communities to find work in larger towns and cities. Restoring old and abandoned village homes brings so much to the area in terms of the local economy, the continuation of traditions, the opportunity for revenue generation and even employment, so it has been a joy seeing this lovely house being brought back to life, and with such sensitivity.”

Local construction companies, sub-contractors and suppliers were used throughout the project, and great care was taken to maintain the integrity of the original building. Interior design ideas were drawn from Andalucian culture, art and design, and the main bedroom suite has ornate hand-crafted plaster ceilings inspired by Granada’s Alhambra Palace.

Proceeds from the sale of the property will be split equally and donated to the charities, Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need. Rightmove added how they have interest in the local region surge off the back of the show, which hit screens back in January and concluded on March 14.

Rightmove’s data shows that over 85,000 people have looked up properties in Moclín this year – 800 times more than the 104 searches recorded at this time last year. This marks the biggest year-on-year increase in interest of any overseas location in 2025, and makes Moclín the 34th most searched for location in Spain so far.

Meanwhile, the wider area of Granada has also seen a 277% increase in interest from curious searchers. Rightmove’s Chief Data Officer, Steve Pimblett said: “This is the latest example of real-world events influencing the way millions of people search for property.

“As people have seen Amanda and Alan’s renovation project and learned about the area of Moclín, they’ve turned to Rightmove to see what living there could be like. We expect the home will draw a lot of attention, and hopefully find the right buyer.”

Details of the property can be seen on the Granada Village & Country website, and on Rightmove. You can watch the finale of Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job on BBC IPlayer.
