In the most recent series of the show, Dianne Buswell led Scouse comedian Chris McCausland to victory. He became to the first blind contestant to take part in the show and the nation fell in love with pairing as they went on to lift the glitterball trophy.

Dianne Buswell is returning as a professional dancer for the 23rd series of the hit BBC dancing show. She regularly updates fans of her life away from showbiz to her 1m followers on Instagram.
The Australian pro recently wrapped up a UK tour alongside fellow Strictly dancer Vito Coppola. The two professionals performed at several venues up and down the country as part of their “Red Hot and Ready” show.
Dianne has dived straight back into a strict training regime as she prepares for Strictly Come Dancing. In a recent post on social media, the 36-year-old expressed her excitement over the upcoming series.
She also took a trip down “memory lane” as she looked through some old videos from her and Chris in training this time last year. She accompanied the post with a heartfelt message.
Dianne wrote in the caption: “With the new celebs being announced it made me have a look down memory lane. I came across these videos of Chris and it made me so incredibly proud.
“Dance didn’t come naturally at all …as he would say to me daily ‘I’m just a 47 year old man who sits on a stool for a living Di….. ‘ but it didn’t stop him his hard work dedication and a real laugh along the way got him through.
“So DON’T underestimate any of the contestants because you never know how it will pan out. It makes me so excited for each and every one of them another brilliant year is ahead of us.”
Amy Dowden added red love heart emojis and Shirley Ballas said: “Brilliant.” One fan called Courtney added: “So so amazing what you both achieved such an incredible season, can’t wait to see this year what happens,”
