Vito Coppola has shared a touching family photograph whilst reflecting on his current journey in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.

The professional dancer has received widespread acclaim for his guidance of new celebrity dance partner, Ellie Goldstein, as they battle it out in the BBC One dance competition this year.

Ellie, the first person with Down syndrome to take part in the main series, and Vito made their return to the ballroom on Saturday night (October 18) after securing their spot in week four of the contest.

They brought the show to a close with their couple’s choice performance, which served as a tribute to the model and actress, dancing to Golden by HUNTR/X from the Netflix sensation K Pop Demon Hunters, earning them 31 out of a possible 40 points.

Posting images of himself and Ellie performing their latest routine on the dance floor, he wrote: “It doesn’t need words…it’s just YOU @elliejg16_zebedeemodel in all your beauty. So proud of you my little firefly #cheekyteam.”

Ellie responded emotionally: “Your words make me sooooo emotional! You’re the best brother I could ask for.”

Additionally, Vito was spotted honouring his mother on her birthday, posting a photograph on his Instagram Story featuring himself alongside his brother Jonathan, whilst he remains separated from his family.

Alongside the post, the Italian star gushed: “Happy birthday to the best mom in the world. You are all our life and we love you so much.”
