Stacey Dooley has thrilled fans with an exciting career update. The Strictly Come Dancing winner has moved to Liverpool with her partner, Kevin Clifton, and their daughter, Minnie.
Stacey and Kevin met when they were partnered up on the 2018 edition of Strictly. Their romance blossomed on the way to lifting the glitterball and their relationship has continued to go from strength to strength since.
Stacey regularly shares updates from her happy family life on Instagram. She took to the social media platform to laugh her daughter wasn’t on her best behaviour yesterday.
However, she had local company, Liverpool Chauffeurs, for playing the perfect song to cheer her up. She shared a short clip with Whitney Houston’s Million Dollar Bill playing in the background with the caption: “Whitney reminding me I’m still that girl.
“Because wtf was this morning. No one will try you more than a toddler lemme tell you.” She added: “@liverpoolchaffeurs thank you for rescuing me.”
Stacey was on her way to apply the finishing touches to her important new project. She was providing some voiceover work on a new documentary and shared a snap from the booth.
She said: “We’ve reached this level of extra, apparently. Our ‘Growing up Gypsy’ film is all finished and I’m made up you guys will soon get to watch the girls in action.
“Our three girls were so v generous with their time and their families too. Thank you. Hopefully it’s a less predictable depiction of an often judged community.”Ta Anna and Flo. Loved working with you both, obvs. ‘Tea WITH OAT MILK PLS’ Goodies all round! Enjoy!” Fans took to the comments to praise Stacey after the update.
Loose Women panelist Katie Piper said: “Vibes.” A follower named Sandra took to the comments said: “Can’t wait to see it.” A fan named Anne Marie posted: “I love you.”
Stacey and the family moved to Liverpool in 2023 to be closer to her mum, who is from the region. Kevin told the ECHO the family they had to make the move a reality the moment they set eyes on their new home in Merseyside. He told the ECHO last year: “Stacey loves looking at houses on the internet. Looking at interiors and stuff is her favourite thing to do.
“She just happened to have seen something she liked and thought ‘oh it’s not too far away from my mum’. We went and had a look and the second she walked in was like ‘I love it and I can really see us living here’. It all happened really quickly and we love it.” He added: “Our little girl is going to be raised as a Scouser.”
