Stephen Graham has shared a family update with his social media followers. The star has two children with wife Hannah Walters – daughter Grace, born in 2005 and son Alfie, born in 2007.
The actor reposted a picture of himself, Hannah and Grace to his Instagram stories this morning. Hannah had posted the image to her own account which showed her kissing her daughter on the cheek and Stephen pulling a silly face. The photo caption read: “Happy 20th birthday baby G … We [love heart emoji] you.”
The 51-year-old has been married to Grace for 15 years, since June 6, 2008. They first met and began dating while training at Rose Brutford College if Theatre and Performance. Hannah is also an actress, appearing in TV shows including Boiling Point, Malpractice and Time.
The Liverpool-born actor recently opened up about his relationship with his children in an interview for The Sunday Times. Talking about marriage, he said: “We have ups and downs, of course”, and added: “Luckily, though, the relationship we both have with our children is beautiful — but it takes work.”
Stephen also wished his wife a happy birthday last month. It was a special day for the family as Hannah celebrated her 49th birthday. Taking to Instagram to share a snap of the two with his 356,000 Instagram followers, he said: “Happy birthday princess.”
Away from his home life, Stephen has wowed fans after revealing his amazing physical transformation ahead of his role in an exciting new show. Disney+ released the full-length trailer in January for an action-packed glimpse into the six-part series A Thousand Blows, which sees him taking on the role of a boxer on the illegal boxing scene of 1880s London. The show is set to launch in the UK on Friday, February 21.
