
Stacey Solomon has shared an update about her fly-on-the-wall BBC documentary, Stacey & Joe. The TV personality is currently filming for the second series after a successful first series. She regularly provides updates about her private and professional life on social media.
The Loose Women panellist has appeared on our screens regularly through the years after she shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009. Her likable and outgoing personality has made her a popular character and her family updates from her life at Pickle Cottage have earned her a huge following.
Stacey has 6.1 million followers on Instagram, and has posted over 1,684 times. Her latest update was posted to Instagram Stories. The former X Factor star shared a behind-the-scenes snap of her and Joe sitting in the sofa, in front of TV cameras.
She wrote: “Filming our very last bit for Stacey & Joe series two today [emotional face emoji] COMING SOON…” The TV show itself has an Instagram page that has a following of over 71,000 people. The programme features all the behind the scenes of the married couple and their family.
After the second series was announced, the couple shared a statement at the time which said: “The biggest thank you to every single person who watched the first series of Stacey & Joe… We’ve been so grateful for all the lovely messages and we’re so excited to bring out another series with the BBC.”

In the opening series viewers watched across six episodes as moments from the life of Stacey and Joe were shown to millions. Special moments included Stacey winning an NTA, to the couple navigating Joe’s ADHD diagnosis and their son receiving his GCSE results.
Filming for the second series is wrapping up today, August 26 and will include Stacey and Joe taking a family trip, and continuing to manage their busy work lives, passion projects and celebrating milestone family moments at their home along with their children, four ducks, four ducklings and two dogs.
The second series will be six episodes, all an hour long and be shown on BBC One and iPlayer. Away from their home of Pickle Cottage, the family recently enjoyed a couple of weeks away in the sun as they took a holiday to Turkey. Stacey shared snaps from the trip away and upon returning to the UK said: “Memories made. Time to go home.”
She added: “Found the hotel photographer and he actually got a picture of us ALL smiling. It’s going on the wall, goodbye Turkey, time to get back to Pickle Cottage.”
Stacey has been emotional watching her family grow up, she uploaded a video of son Rex holding her youngest child Bella as she wrote: “Big Brothers. Learning from the best Rexy, just watching some of my holiday videos and making myself cry.”
