Stacey Solomon was in disbelief as she took to social media this afternoon. The 35-year-old has appeared on our screens regularly through the years after she shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009. Her likable and outgoing personality has made her a popular character and she regularly shares aspects of her life to her followers on social media.
The TV star is married to former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, 43, and the couple share son Rex, five, and daughters Rose, three, and Belle, two. Stacey also has older sons Zachary, 17, with former partner Dean Cox, and Leighton, 12, with ex-fiance Aaron Barham.
Stacey and Joe released their own fly-on-the-wall BBC series earlier this year, called “Stacey & Joe”. The programme follows the lives of the couple and their family as they document the highs and lows of life, juggling work, play, parenting and their ever-growing menagerie of pets – four ducks, four ducklings and two dogs.

In the opening series, viewers watched across six episodes as moments from the life of Stacey and Joe were shown to millions. Special moments included Stacey winning an NTA, to the couple navigating Joe’s ADHD diagnosis and their son receiving his GCSE results.
The couple are inviting cameras back into Pickle Cottage for a second series which premieres on BBC One tonight. It features some very special and monumental firsts for the family.
This includes Belle’s first day of nursery, a permanent Valentine’s gift that leaves Stacey in a fit of giggles, all of the little ones learning to ski, and Zach’s 17th birthday.
Stacey took to social media to share her excitement. Re-sharing a teaser video to her Instagram stories, Stacey wrote: “How is it already series two? Hope it makes you smile tonight.”
In a separate video, Stacey explained she was rushing back home in time to catch the first episode at 8pm. She said: “I’m trying to get home in time to watch the new series. I can’t believe it’s out today like it’s scary how quickly that’s come around.
“But series two of Stacey and Joe tonight eight o’clock on BBC One. I really hope you enjoy it. It’s a bit of a sweet series for me because loads happens.
“We have got some amazing memories but also Teddy, and a few little things so I can’t wait to watch it back. But also I’m a bit nervous to watch some of it back, you know when you put some things in boxes at the back of your head.
“I can’t wait to watch it back and I really hope you love it. I hope it makes you smile and it brings a little bit of light and happiness to your Tuesday afternoon.”
