Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash Welcome ‘New Family’ to Pickle Cottage

Stacey Solomon has revealed that she is planning to welcome a “new family” to her home with husband Joe Swash. The TV personality regularly keeps fans updated with personal insights into her family life away from the world of showbiz.

The family live in a Tudor-style home in Essex, they moved into the home in March 2021. The house is reported to have cost £1.2 million and over the years Stacey and Joe have made plenty of changes to the property. The Sort Your Life Out star and former EastEnders actor raise their children at Pickle Cottage, Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle. Stacey shares Zach and Leighton with ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham.

Pickle Cottage is reported to have 2.5 acres of land, the family has certainly made the most of the space they have. Yesterday, Stacey posted to Instagram “having a garden day”. She shared a photo of her garden in the sunshine, writing “I’m going to rake the woods and try to get some things growing in here because I want to add a new family to Pickle Cottage.”

Stacey added that her and Joe had been talking about getting bees “a lot”. The couple who have been married since 2022 are going on a bee keeping course to bring back their own colony in the spring. The 35-year-old plans to plant more wildflowers for the bees to collect nectar from.

Last year the former X Factor contestant added ducks to her family home. She took to Instagram with an adorable image of the birds and shared her excitement as she wrote “Welcome To Pickle Cottage Little Ones. We are so excited to love you & we hope you love living here & being a part of our crazy family.”

A new fly-on-the-wall series will follow the lives of Stacey and actor Joe. The show called ‘Stacey and Joe’ features the couple, their children and pets, including four ducks and two dogs during their day-to-day life at their Pickle Cottage home in Essex.

The TV presenter said: “2024 was the year me and Joe pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones – we’ve loved showing a different side to our family’s fun and chaos.” Filmed during the summer and autumn of 2024, the programme shows the couple as they celebrate their second wedding anniversary, revealing how they met and fell in love. It also documents 16-year-old Zach as he waits for his GCSE results and Stacey winning at the National Television Awards.
