“Stacey Solomon Addresses Net Worth and Says ‘We Don’t Have Inherited Wealth'”

Stacey Solomon is all about teaching her kids the value of hard work, making it clear that she expects her children with husband Joe Swash to put in the effort for their keep.

The TV favourite is back on BBC with a fresh documentary series featuring her hubby Joe. Joining the ranks of family-oriented reality TV, Stacey and Joe are welcoming viewers into the charming chaos of their ‘Pickle Cottage’ home.

The series shows Stacey and Joe juggling life with their littlest ones, Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, as well as Stacey’s older sons, Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12. The new series promises an authentic peek into the duo’s domestic bliss, including some adorable camera time with the children.

As the pair stand to continue to earn off the back of the series, Stacey’s stance is unwavering when it comes to pocket money. She has a very clear message for her children on the importance of earning their pocket money.

Chatting with the Mirror, she said: “We don’t have some sort of inherited wealth that we can pass down for generations. It’s really important for them to know that this is our career and we will support our family in whichever way we can, but they are their own person.

“They’re going to have their own lives and they need to have their own dreams, careers and that doesn’t come from us giving them everything. It’s a constant battle.

“Sometimes I just want to throw the towel in and be like, ‘Fine, don’t do anything,’ because they’re teenage boys. I feel like I’m always on their back.”

While Joe made his name in EastEnders, Stacey shot to stardom on The X Factor. It was reported that Stacey had hit millionaire status in 2023, having secured her first million by 2019.

Reports indicated a surge in Stacey’s income since 2012, as she has an estimated net worth of around £5million. Earlier this year, rumours suggested she’d pocketed a cool half million over the past year alone.

Stacey is also rumoured to command a hefty £12,000 for each sponsored post on her Instagram, with her ‘Tap to Tidy’ books adding a steady stream to her earnings.

Amidst their financial success, the pair’s new documentary didn’t shy away from reality, showcasing a heated moment between them when Joe returned from fishing much later than planned.

Despite being five hours late, upon arrival, he excused himself, saying: “There was an accident on the road… otherwise I would have been here in 20 minutes.”

Stacey wasn’t having any of it, as she retorted: “You’re five hours late.” She expressed her frustration further by noting: “Sometimes I don’t think Joe realises the repercussions.

“It’s all a laugh and a joke, but that meeting was really important to me.” Joe and Stacey, however, are determined to keep their public image genuine, displaying the good and the not-so-good.

Joe said: “So many people represent their lives as being so perfect on Instagram. It’s our responsibility to show the real – the highs and the lows. It’s not all a bed of roses. Sometimes, we argue.”

Stacey added: “You might go to see somebody and talk through your relationship and they might give you advice, but you never get to witness when you’re bickering between each other. We found that really interesting.

“There’s definitely things in our communication where we’re like, ‘Wow, we could do that better. And we could talk about this more..’

“It opens you up to the development of your relationship that you don’t always see, in everyday life, because a lot of the time you’re just trudging through to get to the next day.”
