Stacey Dooley has issued a grateful update from her Liverpool home. The Strictly Come Dancing 2018 winner relocated to Merseyside with her partner, Kevin Clifton, and their daughter Minnie in 2023.
It has been a busy week Stacey as her new documentaries landed on BBC. The new programmes are part of a series where Stacey “spends time in the lives of people who will make you question life in Britain.”
Rape On Trial, Meet the Shoplifters and Growing Up Gypsy are now available to watch on iPlayer. The 37-year-old has also released her book this week, Dear Minnie: Conversations with Remarkable Mothers, which landed on bookshelves yesterday.
After a busy week promoting her new projects on The One Show and Scott Mill’s Radio 2 show, Stacey is now back in her Liverpool home as she shared a message on Instagram today to thank fans for the response to her new work.
Making her daughter breakfast, Stacey said: “I’m just making Minnie some porridge that she’s demanded, but she won’t actually eat. But I’m going to make this regardless because I’m delusional.
“This is a very quick message to thank every single person who has watched any of our new documentaries which have dropped. yesterday. I am so grateful and so thrilled that everybody is going to hear from the women that we spent time with.
“Enjoy, thank you and have a lovely day. All the best.” Fans took to the comments to heap praise on Stacey for another powerful series of documentaries.

The bob cut. The stunning hair colour. The fact that you call it porridge. This stunning black top. How effortlessly gorgeous you look at 9:30am.
“Anyway, congratulations on all the new shows. We miss you dearly XOXO” Gracey added: “How big is your kitchen that it echoes when you speak.”
Kevin told the ECHO in an exclusive interview how the family moved to Liverpool to be closer to Stacey’s mum, who is originally from the region. He told the ECHO last year: “Stacey loves looking at houses on the internet. Looking at interiors and stuff is her favourite thing to do.
“She just happened to have seen something she liked and thought ‘Oh it’s not too far away from my mum’. We went and had a look and the second she walked in was like ‘I love it and I can really see us living here’. It all happened really quickly and we love it.” He added: “Our little girl is going to be raised as a Scouser.”
Stacey regularly shares updates of her home renovation project on Instagram. Stacey provided a cosy look into her home when she announced her partnership with Coatpaints and said how much she is in love with her Merseyside home. She said: “I am completely in love with this house.
“This is so dramatic and over the top but I have never felt this way about a house before. I never thought I’d have a home this beautiful.” In the caption, she said: “I’ve spent so much time really thinking about each room, making sure it feels authentically ‘us’ (Kev has zero interest which is perfect, honestly).” Stacey Dooley is hosting a book talk to celebrate the release of her book at the Chester Storyhouse on March 30.
