Soccer Aid 2025: Steven Bartlett’s net worth and success on Dragons’ Den.

Steven Bartlett will play in Soccer Aid 2025

Steven Bartlett is best known for his podcast The Diary of a CEO, and for being the youngest member on the Dragon’s Den panel.

The entrepreneur, who made a name for himself due to his innovative approach to social media marketing, will be playing in today’s Soccer Aid charity match after helping England clinch the victory last year.

Soccer Aid is returning today, with a host of celebrities and football legends geared up to take to the pitch at Old Trafford.

It will be a thrilling head-to-head between England and World XI. The event was created by Robbie Williams in 2006 and has been a hugely popular event ever since.

The event provides plenty of entertainment but has also raised over £100 million for charity. Soccer Aid is in partnership with UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, the event “brings the nation together behind a common goal: to protect play for every child”.

Last year’s player of the match was Steven, he came on as a substitute in the second half and helped seal England’s 6-3 victory. He scored two goals for Frank Lampard’s side, and will be hoping to replicate that success today.

Steven co-founded multi-million pound company Social Chain when he was just 21, working out of his bedroom in Manchester in 2014. He has since gone on to invest in several companies as well as host one of the UK’s most popular podcasts – Diary of a CEO.

At the age of 28, Steven became the youngest ever investor on the BBC programme Dragons’ Den. He has also released a book, titled Happy Sexy Millionaire. By the age of 23 Steven had already reached millionaire status.

Other business ventures include being the founder of Flight Story, a media marketing and investment company, which involves FlightStory Studio and FlightStory Fund. He is also the founder of Thirdweb.

The 32-year-old who was born in Botswana before his family moved to Plymouth when he was two. Steven stepped down as CEO of Social Chain in 2020, six years after founding the company.

Social and digital media group Brave Bison announced it had agreed to buy Social Chain, in a deal said to be worth at least £7.7 million, according to reports.

In May 2025, Steven became a co-owner of US technology company Stan Store, a platform designed to help creator entrepreneurs launch and manage online businesses.

Stan Store has grown to more than 70,000 users in just three years and upon announcing the news, Steven said: “I’ve signed the biggest deal of my life.”

While there is no exact figure on the net worth of the Dragon’s Den star, previous reports from Forbes claimed his net worth was around £71 million when he was 26, Steven is now 32.

This number has more than likely increased with the astounding success of his podcast worldwide and further investment deals.

The Diary of a CEO continues to hit the number-one spot on Spotify’s UK podcast charts. In November 2024, it reached one billion listens and streams across Apple, Spotify and YouTube. Back in 2021, the successful businessman said that he makes $1.2 million from his podcast every year.

Old Trafford will be a full house later today as the football match gets underway and Steven attempts to net a couple more goals.

Soccer Aid 2025 is set to take place this evening as thousands descend on Manchester to watch. It will be broadcast on ITV1 from 6pm and the match kicks off at 7:30pm.
