Ronan Keating has shared a personal update with his social media followers. The former Boyzone member has been in the limelight recently after the release of Sky documentary, Boyzone: No Matter What.
The dad-of-five took to Instagram yesterday to share a a special message for his granddaughter. He said: “Happy birthday our little Maya Melon. Two years in a heartbeat.”
The pictures included snaps of Ronan with family, including his son, Jack Keating, who is a radio DJ and former Love Island star and wife Storm. Jack also celebrated his daughter Maya’s second birthday. He wrote: “Still can’t believe my little princess is two today. You bring so much joy and happiness to everyone in your life and I love you so much.”
Fans sent well wishes to the family after the update. One comment said: “Happy birthday to your precious granddaughter. May she know how blessed she is to have such a wonderful family being right by her side” and another added: “Your granddaughter is so sweet, it’s great to have grandchildren, they enrich our family, always be proud of them, happy birthday little Maya, always be happy and cheerful.”
The heartfelt replies continued with: “Your granddaughter Maya is so adorable and happy birthday to Maya” and “Cannot believe she is two already, bet you can’t?! Time flies too quickly.” Maya Ann is the Irishman’s only grandchild. Ronan was married to Yvonne Connolly from 1998 until 2015.
Ronan and Yvonne share three children together, eldest son Jack, 25, and two daughters Marie (Missy) born in 2001 and Ali born in 2007. The 47-year-old married Storm Uechtritz in 2015 and they have two children together, Cooper Keating, born in 2017 and Coco Knox Keating, born in 2020.
