Peter Crouch was taken aback when TV presenter Holly Willoughby ended up in his bed instead of his wife, Abbey Clancy. The former Liverpool FC striker took part in a hilarious instalment on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show as the memorable episode is set to be broadcast on BBC One once again tonight.

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show viewers were in hysterics at Holly Willougby’s surprise appearance on the show. In the repeated episode, the comedian hosts an unmissable night of entertainment on the primetime BBC programme. He’s also joined by Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy for a special edition of the Midnight Gameshow.

Abbey is aware of the planned segment on the show but her husband is surprised as the presenter unexpectedly enters their bedroom before they go to sleep.

A whole host of celebrities such as Mike Dean and Romesh Ranganathan arrive in the room for a game of spot the difference. However, Peter is taken aback when Abbey is replaced by Holly Willoughby in bed as part of the first spot the difference round.

Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch regularly update fans on their busy family life away from showbiz. The couple have four children, Sophia Ruby, Liberty Rose, Johnny, and Jack.

Peter popped the question in 2009 before the couple tied the knot in June 2011 in a lavish ceremony with family, friends and fellow celebs. The couple regularly share insights into their relationship on The Therapy Crouch podcast.

They launched the podcast two years ago and have seen remarkable success from the relatable show. Each episode, Abbey shares one experience which has annoyed her over the last week which she refers to as her “weekly whine”.
