Olivia Attwood has given her opinion on the growing speculation surrounding Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa’s relationship in Celebrity Big Brother, admitting “there could be something there”.
Olivia has been presenting KISS Breakfast this week along with Pete Wicks, as Jordan and Perri take a break.
With Olivia’s ex Chris Hughes taking part in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, naturally the reality show came up in conversation.
While Olivia revealed she hasn’t been watching CBB due to her early starts on the radio station, she feels she has been “‘consuming the show via TikTok”. And many people have been keen to hear her reaction to the show.
“I’m getting tagged in thousands [of videos] because obviously Chris and I used to date – we’re going back like six or seven years but we did,” said Olivia.
Chris and Olivia dated after meeting in the Love Island villa back in 2017, with the relationship lasting seven months. Olivia later branded the relationship “toxic” and ended up reuniting with an ex-boyfriend, footballer Bradley Dack, who she married in June 2023.
When Olivia found out Chris was entering the CBB house, she admitted she hadn’t spoken to him in years, and in a previous podcast appearance, she discussed how their social media presence was very different to real life, saying: “He would put up a selfie of me and him with like hearts underneath and I’d be thinking, ‘This p***k hasn’t answered the phone to me for four days.’”
Speaking on KISS Breakfast about the TikTok videos she’d seen of her ex and JoJo, Olivia admitted: “[The] clips look like there could be something there”. But she was careful to add: “I guess it’s how you interpret it.”
Olivia added: “The internet is going two ways – the internet is going that there’s something there, there might be feelings from one side or the other. The other side of the internet is asking is Chris playing the game – she has a lot of followers, she’s very famous.”
In an incident last night, JoJo was caught writing secret messages on Chris’ hand, which has led to Big Brother punishing them by making them speak through megaphones.
Olivia quipped: “They both already do – that is going to cause friction in the house!” while co-host Pete added: “Chris Hughes through a megaphone – that’s the ratings going down for a little bit.”
