Mrs Hinch shares an emotional message after sentimental jewellery belonging to her late father was stolen.

Mrs Hinch said “I can’t believe I’m writing this” as she shared a personal update on social media. The cleaning guru, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, informed her fans that her mum’s house had been broken into and her jewellery was stolen. She wrote: “No one deserves this!!! Especially not my mum.”

In a statement shared to her Instagram story on Tuesday, Sophie said: “I can’t believe I’m writing this. To the vile individuals who broke into my parents’ home in Maldon today, January 27, between 10am and 6pm!!

“You broke into a grieving woman’s home and stole her jewellery! Items that belonged to my late Dad. Sentimental, irreplaceable pieces that would had NO right to touch. Let me be very clear!!! This WILL NOT be dropped.

She added: “That jewellery may be worthless to you, but it is priceless to my mum. She has already lost her husband and is trying to piece her life back together, and you chose to violate her home and rip away what little she had left of him.

“You knew exactly what you were doing. This is beyond left!! It is cruel, disgusting, and cowardly.

“Return the jewellery. Leave it anonymously. Hand it in somewhere. Do the right thing!!

“This area is being watched. This is being shared. And this will be pursued. No one deserves this!!!! Especially not my mum.”

Sophie’s dad died in April 2024 and she took to Instagram to share an emotional post at the time.

She wrote: “25th April 2024. My precious dad passed suddenly but so peacefully whilst he slept. My life, our whole world, has been turned upside down.

“A deep unimaginable pain I cannot put into words. My loving Dad, Our boys beloved Grandad, Your workshop is locked up and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream going.

“Until we meet and sing together again. Goodnight dad my absolute king. Your Bubberloo.”
