Molly-Mae admits she does ‘too much’ in a newly unearthed Love Island audition tape.

Molly-Mae Hague has made a candid admission during her unearthed Love Island audition tapes.

She shot to fame after her stint on ITV2’s Love Island back in 2019 featuring alongside familiar faces including Amber Gill, who claimed first place with Greg O’Shea, as well as Amy Hart, Maura Higgins, and Curtis Pritchard.

Molly-Mae, who was bookies’ favourite to win at the time, found herself runner up with her partner Tommy Fury, where the two have remained in a public relationship since.

On the show, fans will remember the two became boyfriend and girlfriend during their stint, despite many hurdles along the way.

Now, her audition tapes have been unearthed as she admitted she was told she was “too much to handle”.

In the throwback tape, Molly Mae can be heard saying to the camera, with her hair scrunched back in a bun: “The last guy that I was with literally told me I was too much for him to handle, whatever too much actually means.”

Sharing the clip on YouTube earlier this year, the Love Island account wrote: “You said roll the tapes… and we delivered. In honour of 10 years of love, take a look at never seen before audition tapes from some of the most iconic people to enter the Villa!

“Including Chris Hughes, Molly-Mae Hague, Maura Higgins, Dani Dyer, Whitney Adebayo and more!”

One fan commented: “Aww, they were only babies back then.”

Another said: “Very nostalgic.”

Since her villa stint, Molly Mae has gone from strength the strength, becoming creative director for Pretty Little Thing as well as making her own docuseries.

As one of TV’s most high profile couples, Molly and Tommy both went on to have their daughter Bambi in 2023, but they have faced several hurdles.

The two appeared to have parted ways, before confirming they were giving their relationship another go earlier this year.

Now, the former Love Island star is once again giving fans a behind the scenes sneak peek into her glamourous life as a new season of her hit docuseries has been released.

Molly Mae: Behind It All Season 2 premiered on Prime Video on October 18, with the series set to tackle everything from her public relationship to mothering their daughter.

The first three episodes are available to stream now as a synopsis reads: “With exclusive access, Molly embarks on an exciting new chapter as she takes her business empire to the next level while navigating the challenges of motherhood under the scrutiny of millions.”
