As a new batch of Love Island alumni prepares to re-enter the villa for the All Stars series next Monday, show presenter Maya Jama has given a first look inside the South African villa.
As we gear up for an electric new season of the Love Island All Stars, Maya Jama has given a sneak peek from the show’s luxe South African villa. Set to grace our screens next Monday (13 January), fan-favourites like Scott Thomas, Olivia Hawkins, and Gabby Allen are making their grand return to the iconic villa, which has undergone a chic makeover.
The new digs boast a swanky outdoor kitchen kitted out in vibrant pink and white stripes that will undoubtedly be the backdrop for some islander drama And the iconic firepit hasn’t gone anywhere—it’s shining bright with gold tiles and surrounded by a plush white semi-circle sofa where those nail-biting recouplings and dramatic announcements will unfold.
During her appearance on This Morning this Tuesday (7 January), the fabulous Maya Jama chatted to Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley live from the villa but played coy about the other updates, giving us just a tantalising glimpse of the kitchen and firepit areas.
She dished on the revamp saying: “Every year we do a little bit. I mean, the kitchen’s the main thing that I can see straight away that’s changed, kind of like a candy floss, pink and white stripe situation, very cute! ” She added with excitement, “There’s just loads of small details. I haven’t had a full tour yet, I need to go and dig around everywhere but, every year I feel like it just gets better and better and just more glamorous.”
Maya Jama, the show’s host, has shared her excitement after the official line-up for the Love Island All Stars was announced. The star-studded cast includes Gabby Allen, Curtis Pritchard, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed, Catherine Agbaje, Olivia Hawkins, Ronnie Vint, Scott Thomas, Luca Bish, India Reynolds, Marcel Somerville, and Elma Pazar, all returning to the villa in hopes of finding lasting love this time around.
Speaking with Ben and Cat, Maya expressed her anticipation: “I’m feeling excited you know, I’ve always said I’ve been a fan of the show since series one, so I know all of them. And, seeing the line-up now, I’m thinking, ‘OK…’, drama, excitement, and hopefully some love, and maybe some potential forever romances. I’m mostly intrigued by the exes getting back in there though, because, drama!”
Ahead of her TV appearance, Maya gave fans a glimpse of her journey to the villa on Instagram, documenting her arrival in a car after a long flight. Fans won’t have to wait much longer, as the second edition of the reality series spin-off is set to hit our screens on January 13 at 9pm, reports the Mirror.
