The Masked Singer fans are convinced they’ve figured out who is disguised behind Bush on the hit ITV show after a ‘leak’ – but not everyone is convinced by the theory
The Masked Singer viewers are buzzing with excitement as they’re convinced they’ve worked out the identity of Bush, after a major show ‘leak’. It comes after the singer dropped a hint that he had been offered the role of Bush, which has been re-discovered on a fan page.
The theory has been sparked after fans dug up information from a Wiki fan page dedicated to the show. A recent Reddit thread saw fans sharing a link to the page, which hinted that Bush might be a McFly member, reports the Express.
The page revealed: “On an episode of The Voice UK, Danny Jones stated that he was given the choice between a Piranha and a Bush.” With Danny having already triumphed as Piranha, it’s led fans to wonder if Harry Judd or another bandmate could be behind Bush’s mask.
One excited fan speculated: “It could be another member of McFly such as Harry Judd or maybe a boy band member such as MATT WILLIS.” Another is convinced it could be Tom Fletcher as they commented: “It just looks like him. I don’t know how to explain.”
A third chimed in with a laugh: “Lol I see it! When would he have had the time though?! I swear that man never sleeps!” Yet, not everyone was on board with the theory as a sceptic responded: “I don’t think they’d have other people from McFly or Busted so soon after Rhino and Piranha.”
This is in reference to Charlie Simpson of Busted, who toured with McFly and won the fourth series as Rhino. But another fan quickly countered: “It’s Busted Vs McFly tour. It’s obvious they would.”
Amid the speculation, one viewer summed up the excitement perfectly: “You never know… it’s The Masked Singer, you never know what’s gonna happen,” teasing the unpredictable nature of the show. While another fan teased that Danny might’ve let slip a TV secret on The Voice, he was supposed to keep under wraps as they said: “Oooo, who has been breaking guidelines?”
Meanwhile, back in February, Danny’s little boy was gobsmacked when he found out that his very own superhero dad was behind the sneaky Piranha disguise on The Masked Singer. Beating the likes of singer Lemar as Cricket and The Last Leg’s Alex Brooker as Bigfoot, it was a victory for Danny!
Six year old Cooper had no clue about his dad’s cheeky antics, and his reaction was every bit as priceless as the viewers’ at home. In a truly heartwarming moment, Cooper couldn’t hide his joy, bouncing up, staring at the TV, then hurtling towards Danny for a big bear hug, shouting in delight, “It’s daddy! It’s daddy!”
