The Married At First Sight UK reunion is set to air next week and will see the cast come face to face once again
MAFS UK fans are in for a treat with the show’s much-anticipated reunion just around the corner. The explosive get-together is set to bring the cast back together, dishing out the dirt on their journeys since leaving the show.
E4 revealed the tense episode will air on Monday, February 24 at 9pm, and if you can’t catch it live, don’t worry – it’ll be available an hour later on E4+1 and on-demand via 4OD.
Though details have been kept under wraps since the reunion’s filming in October, insiders hint that it’s going to be a drama-filled ride. Interestingly, the reunion blends the casts from both 2023 and 2024’s series, which will surely ignite some interesting conversations.
Nathan Campbell, famously paired with Lacey Martin during the experiment before their eventual separation, has already teased what’s in store. In a chat with Yahoo in November, Nathan warned viewers they would need to “buckle up” for the episode.
“There are some major revelations, a lot of them spilled the tea! Things came to light that had everyone gasping,” he teased. “MAFS old and new faces were in the same room, and there were fireworks… I can’t say too much, but if you thought the series was dramatic, viewers should buckle up for this reunion.”
After the show wrapped up, Nathan and Lacey, once hailed as a perfect match, unexpectedly called it quits, leaving their followers utterly heartbroken as they were deemed one of the sturdiest duos, reports the Daily Record.
Now, with all of 2024’s series couples parting ways, the upcoming reunion is shaping up to be a tense one. Opening up about his break-up, Nathan told the press: “I have a lot of respect and care for Lacey. We both wanted different things.”
He added: “I went on the show to find love, and sometimes things don’t work out, but everything happens for a reason, and I’m so grateful for the time we shared together.”
“Whilst I was hugely disappointed by the break up, and heartbroken, I respected her decision to part ways and I have nothing but love and good wishes for her.”
The engineer reflected positively on his experience, adding: “I wouldn’t have changed anything on the show, and despite what happened behind the scenes, I would still have chosen Lacey to be my bride, and I have nothing but respect and love for her.”
