Lydia Bright has shared how her five-year-old daughter, Loretta, was rushed to Accident and Emergency and spent the night in hospital after suffering breathing problems
Ex-TOWIE star Lydia Bright has revealed the terrifying ordeal of her five year old daughter, who was rushed to hospital and spent the night there after suffering breathing difficulties. Lydia told her social media followers that things had taken a turn for the worse after her initial post earlier in the week, and she spent her birthday weekend in hospital with her daughter.
She wrote: “Things got a lot worse than my story earlier on in the week. Not the place I planned to spend my birthday weekend. However, I am just grateful that my little lady is now recovering in the children’s ward after a very tough overnight in A and E.”

The TV personality expressed her gratitude for the NHS care her daughter received, despite acknowledging its imperfections. She continued, “I know the NHS is far from perfect, and we are reminded of the downfall constantly in the press. But it’s good to remind ourselves that there are people who don’t have access to healthcare at all.”
Lydia added, “I’m so thankful for the care this hospital has provided over the past couple of years, with Loretta’s breathing issues, and let’s not forget the broken leg. We have been here a lot, praying for fewer visits in the future, kid.”
Lydia shared a touching moment from her hospital visit with her daughter, where she read from an inspirational book to help lift their spirits. Sharing a snapshot of a page from the book, Lydia gave voice to the poignant words with her followers: “Before you complain about school, remember that some people can’t even get an education. Before you complain about getting fat, remember that some people don’t even have any food,” reports the Mirror.
“Before you complain about your job, remember that some people don’t even have any money. Before you complain about cleaning the house, remember that some people don’t even have any shelter. Before you complain about washing the dishes, remember that some people don’t even have any water.”

The story comes as Lydia expressed her heartache that for the second year in a row, her little one’s birthday was marred by a visit to the hospital — previously due to a trampoline accident resulting in a fractured leg during her fourth birthday bash. Without having a moment to bid farewell to the partygoers, Lydia whisked her daughter off to seek medical attention, eventually seeing her brave girl in a cast.
Celebrating her daughter’s resilience, Lydia beamed with pride as she shared a black-and-white photo on social media showing her little trooper in a wheelchair, sporting two thumbs up and a cast on her right leg, all smiles despite the setback, outside the Outpatient X-ray department at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.
