Love Island star Olivia Bowen has been flooded with support as she announced she had given birth. The 31-year-old reality star found love with her partner, Alex Bowen, on the 2016 edition of the dating programme.
The couple married in 2018 and welcomed their first child into the world in 2022. Olivia has announced the arrival of her second child in a heartwarming Instagram post. She shared a snap of the now family of four, with the caption: “I can’t even find the words other than to say our beautiful girl Siena is here, and we are all bursting with love.
“It wasn’t an easy ride but every second worth it a thousand times over. I love my babies.” Olivia shared snaps from her home, which also revealed the new baby’s middle name as Grace.
Olvia welcomed her first child, Abel, into the world in 2022. She has previously spoken about how the birth was complicated, as she was expecting twins but lost one of them due to vanishing twin syndrome.
This condition takes place when one twin in a multiple pregnancy disappears, leaving a single embryo behind. Statistics show this miscarriage impacts 36% of twin pregnancies.
Olivia broke down in tears when she previously discussed the condition on Loose Women. She said: “One of the babies just basically didn’t have a heartbeat, but I’d had no symptoms. I’d had no pain, no bleeding, absolutely nothing to tell me that [this] was what we were walking into. And, I guess from that moment, we were just completely floored.
“We were expecting to have these two little babies, but Vanishing Twin Syndrome, that is what happens. They can, as it says, literally just vanish.”
