Love Island winner Greg O’Shea has married his model girlfriend in an “emotional and intimate” ceremony in Dublin. Greg had proposed to Jeanni Mulder as the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve, with the pair now tying the knot.
The Irish rugby player 30, took to Instagram on Tuesday, 7 October to share the happy news, posting a series of snaps from their special day as the newlyweds shared a kiss as they celebrated with their nearest and dearest.
It’s believed the couple, who have been together for over two years, celebrated with a party at House on Dublin’s Leeson Street on Monday, reports the Mirror. Alongside stunning photographs, Greg wrote: “Mr and Mrs O’Shea. Intimate, emotional and exactly what we wanted. Yesterday was the start of the rest of our lives as we tied the knot in front of our nearest and dearest.”

They were flooded with congratulations from Instagram followers, including former Saturdays singer Una Healy who wrote “beautiful couple”. Greg recently revealed how the pair decided against a lavish and costly wedding, choosing instead to have two smaller parties in Ireland and Jeanni’s native South Africa.
Greg also discussed how the travel-loving couple are planning an extended honeymoon. Speaking to RSVP recently, Greg said: “We were tossing and turning between doing a big massive wedding that everyone does, but then we got a slap of reality because Jeanni’s family are all in South Africa and it is not easy to just get them to fly to Ireland.
“And vice versa with my family going there, not to mention the cost of it. We have decided to flip the script and go for something more intimate, we are keeping the wedding very small with the Irish contingent.

“We will go to South Africa for another celebration next year. Both will be close family and friends. We are really excited to keep things small so we have time with each other and time with our guests.”
Prior to proposing, Greg had enjoyed several weeks with Jeanni and her family in South Africa, where they marked Christmas together.
The pair first met in 2022 after Jeanni was travelling in Bali when she came across a group of Irish girls who encouraged her to slide into his DMs.
“The Irish girls said that they heard me on a podcast and that Jeanni should message me because we’re both quote-unquote cringy. So I’m cringy according to Irish women, and Jeanni’s cringy as well. She slid into my DMs,” he told EVOKE.

After sending him a message, which landed in his hidden requests section, Greg initially thought he was being catfished, though things quickly blossomed between the pair. “I obviously thought she was catfishing me at the start,” he said. “She got me on WhatsApp then, and then FaceTimed me, and then she ended up flying to Dublin.”
The Limerick star initially rose to fame after starring on Love Island in 2019 and going on to win the show with Amber Gill. He has subsequently represented the Irish rugby 7s at the Olympics and carved out a career as a television presenter.
