Love Island: All Stars’ first contestant confirmed as star returns after six years

The first contestant to take part in Love Island’s All Stars series has been confirmed, with 2019 contestant India Reynolds being spotted in Cape Town Airport ahead of the show

The first contestant for Love Island: All Stars has been confirmed as series five star India Reynolds. The reality TV star, who first graced our screens on Love Island in 2019, was spotted at Cape Town Airport ahead of the new series.

The 34 year old looked stunning in a burgundy tracksuit at the airport, reports the Mirror, just over an hour away from where Love Island: All Stars is filmed in Franschhoek, South Africa. India was a part of series five of ITV’s Love Island, finishing the show in third place alongside fan favourite Ovie Soko.

Despite leaving the show as a couple, they called it quits just four months after the final. India joined the 2019 series as a bombshell, sharing the villa with the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Curtis Pritchard, Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor.

The series was eventually won by Amber Gill and latecomer Greg O’Shea, but they split up just months after bagging the £50,000 cash prize. Hosted by Maya Jama, Love Island: All Stars will see contestants from previous series return to the ITV villa for another shot at love.

While India is the first star confirmed for the 2025 series, there are rumours that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Paige Thorne have also signed up for the show, reports the Mirror. Ekin-Su Culculoglu, a fan favourite from series eight of Love Island, could be returning to the reality TV show for another shot at love. Despite winning the 2022 season with Davide Sanclimenti, MailOnline reports that Ekin-Su is in talks to return, with a “deal agreed in principle, there’s still some details to sort out” and just a few details left to iron out.

Paige Thorne, another star from series eight, might also make a comeback after her relationships with Jacques O’Neill and Adam Collard didn’t pan out on the show. Producers are reportedly eager to have her back and are “confident she will deliver” drama.

In December, Paige hinted at a possible return on Instagram, responding to a fan’s comment with: “I am in need of some sunshine tbf,” accompanied by a palm tree emoji and a yellow heart. Scott Van Der Sluis, who has appeared on Love Island USA and Love Island Games, is also rumoured to be joining the cast.

A TV insider told The Sun: “Scott is a seasoned pro at shaking things up in the villa now. He knows how to deliver good tv and he’ll bring everything he has learnt from appearing on the international versions of the show. Scott has also failed to find the one, despite multiple attempts, but perhaps it will be fourth time lucky for him in the South African sunshine? ” Stay tuned to The Mirror for more updates.
