Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai shared joyful family news after scoring in the team’s final away game of the season. The 24-year-old midfielder revealed that he and his wife, Borka Buzsik, who they married in March, are expecting their first child.
Szoboszlai played a key role in Liverpool’s midfield this season as the Reds secured their 20th league title. During the match, he scored a goal—originally meant as a cross—and celebrated by placing the ball under his shirt to announce the pregnancy. Liverpool’s official account congratulated the couple, and Borka responded with a heart emoji.

The couple also posted on Instagram, showing Borka’s baby bump with the caption: “3 of us.” Teammates and their partners joined in sending love and support, including Ryan Gravenberch, Luis Diaz, and others.
Szoboszlai isn’t the only Liverpool midfielder expecting a child—Alexis Mac Allister also revealed earlier this year that his partner is pregnant. Meanwhile, Curtis Jones and his partner welcomed their first child last October.

Liverpool fans are gearing up for a celebratory weekend as the team prepares to lift the league trophy in front of supporters for the first time in 35 years, capping off manager Arne Slot’s remarkable debut season.
