“Life after fame: Blue Peter’s Katy Hill opens up on divorce and surprising career change”

Katy Hill was a beloved Blue Peter presenter in the 90s – but today she has a very different life. Katy joined Blue Peter in 1995 and spent five years taking on incredible stunts, including flying with the RAF’s Red Arrows team, a feat no civilian had achieved before.

Katy’s fearless attitude and charm won over the hearts of both children and parents across the nation. In a recent appearance on Good Morning Britain, Katy shared her lifelong passion for presenting, saying: “I wanted to present that show since I was five.

“It was because this was the ’70s, right, you guys know this? There had been no girl power. That was the place I saw girls jumping out of planes, flying fast jets and fast cars. Generally, it’s pretty cool. I was like: ‘That’s the job for me!'”.

Romana D'annunzio, Tim Vincent, Katy Hill and Stuart Miles were former BBC 'Blue Peter' presenters

Following her time on CBBC, Katy transitioned to mainstream television, co-hosting BBC One’s Live and Kicking with Ortis Deley. She went on to host various shows, including Top of the Pops, Football Fever, and BBC’s Holiday, and even had her own radio show on Capital FM.

‌But today Katy has a new career path. She has established herself as an ‘Internationally Certified Success and Confidence Coach’. Her website boasts a commitment to “EQUIP and EMPOWER YOU to unlock WHO you are, WHERE you’re going and HOW you’ll get there so you can truly LIVE the life you were BORN TO LIVE.”

Katy offers bespoke coaching services, including guidance on visualisation and manifestation, and shares insights through her podcast and newsletter. And her husband is someone you might recognise too – former Live and Kicking presenter Trey Farley. The couple have been married for more than two decades, and have two children.

Trey, now a director and producer, is Katy’s second husband. Her first marriage to Andrew Frampton ended in 2001.
