Love Island star Adam Collard and sports presenter Laura Woods have welcomed their first child together, with the pair sharing adorable first photos of their baby boy
Love Island’s Adam Collard and sports presenter Laura Woods have welcomed their first child – a baby boy. The pair announced the happy news of their son’s arrival on Instagram, alongside the first photos of their newborn and his adorable name reveal – Leo Ernie Collard.
On Saturday, they took to Instagram to share precious moments from the hospital. Adam, 29, posted a touching black and white image of him holding his baby boy’s hand, while Laura, 37, beamed as she cradled their little one. They also shared a snap of them bringing their son home, introducing him as “Leo Ernie Collard, our boy.” The proud parents also gave a glimpse into Leo’s first meeting with their dog at home.

A host of Love Island stars were among those sending messages of congratulations, including Andrew Le Page, Finley Tapp, Liam Reardon and Dom Lever.
Luca Bish’s sister, who is running his account while he’s in the Love Island villa for the All Stars series, quipped: “He’s in the villa finding his human to baby make with, but I know Luca would be chuffed for you. Congratulations.”
Last September, Laura and Adam delighted fans with their engagement news, with Laura posting on Instagram: “And just like that … You make me happy. Thank you @carbisbayestate – the place we fell in love and now the place we got engaged, you made it so special. What a summer.”

Adam echoed her sentiments, expressing his joy about their future together: “From dates and daiquiri’s to a Fiancé and a sprog on the way, our very own little team. My whole world. Always”, reports the Mirror.
Their engagement came after their baby news last July, when Laura made her announcement by posting a touching Instagram reveal featuring an ultrasound snap and her French bulldog gazing up adorably. She simply captioned it: “Hey, baby.”
Adam, who is known for his appearances on shows like ITV’s Love Island and E4’s Celebs Go Dating, has found his match in Laura away from the reality TV spotlight.

Earlier this month, Adam labelled 2024 his “hardest year” in a candid Instagram post. He said: “I’ve seen lot of amazing 2024 posts over the last few days… but if you’re struggling right now, remember that Instagram is a highlights reel, and if you’re struggling you aren’t alone.”
He went on to say he had found the past year “tougher than any before”. Adam continued: “Struggled with my mental health more than ever. Lost something important. Struggled with injuries. Suffered with addiction to painkillers and sleeping pills and justified it as ‘it doesn’t affect fitness’ or because it wasn’t booze. Got diagnosed with depression. Prescribed anti-depressants. Lost family. Drifted from certain friends. Tried to reach out to people and failed. Felt lost.”
