Kylie Minogue has finished her world tour and has taken to social media to celebrate the special moment in her career. The Tension World Tour kicked off in Australia, before making its way to Asia and eventually to the UK in May before heading outside of Europe again.

Announcing the tour last year, the Especially For You singer said: “I am beyond excited to announce the TENSION TOUR 2025. I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more!

“It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close-up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”

The world tour ended in Mexico on August 26, and Kylie has shared on Instagram: “TENSION WORLD TOUR … COMPLETE!!! Wow wow wow what an amazing year it’s been.

“Travelling around the world seeing so many of your beautiful faces and working with this incredible Tension Team. I feel so lucky right now. Words are not enough … THANK YOU.”

To mark the end of the tour, the Australian singer has announced the Tension Tour will be coming digitally on September 26, with the live album coming to vinyl.

Fans of Kylie praised her performances as they commented on her posts. One comment said: “Thank you for providing the best day of my life, the tour was incredible and the show is already missed. You are wonderful.”

Another said: “Thank you Kylie. What an incredible tour.” A further response was “An amazing show, thank you so much for making my dream come true, Kylie.”

The Grammy-award winning artist even returned to the M&S Bank Arena on her word tour, six years on from her last show at the venue in 2019. Kylie opened the show with Lights Camera Action, followed by hits In Your Eyes and Get Outta My Way.

In a sweet moment in Liverpool, Kylie spotted a young fan in tears in the crowd and brought her up on stage with her. The little girl, named Poppy, was then lifted over the barriers and hugged by Kylie as the crowd cheered.

Thousands gathered at the venue to dance the night away, with many decked out in sequins and Kylie Minogue t-shirts in celebration of the event.

Before this hugely successful tour, Kylie last toured back in 2019 in support of her greatest hits album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection.

The latest tour was for the singer’s newest album ‘Tension II’ which was a brand new collection of 13 songs, released in October 2024.
