Megan Pickford has welcomed a new-born daughter with partner Jordan Pickford. The couple have been together for 13 years and now have three children together.
The Everton footballer and his wife have a son named Arlo, born in 2019 and a daughter named Ostara Haze, born in September 2003. The latest arrival was announced on Instagram by Megan, this evening.
Sharing an adorable series of photos, holding her daughter and others showing Pickford embracing her, Megan wrote: “And just like that Ostara has been promoted to Queen. Welcome to the world our new little princess, Misty Celine Pickford, our hearts just doubled in size.”
One photo showed Megan looking lovingly down as Misty was clothed in a white knitted outfit which read “Misty” in pink writing across the back. Other photos showed a cake which had “baby girl” written across the front.
Showing a side of Pickford away from football, one image showed him smiling as he proudly showed his other children their new sister. The last image shared was of the married couple hugging each other.
After tying the knot in 2020, the couple are regularly sharing posting on social media. Megan is often seen attending Everton and England matches to support her husband. The family reside in a Cheshire mansion thought to be worth over £2m.
Megan has previously shared snippets of the incredible home in updates on her Instagram account. Their property boasts beautiful interiors, a large, modern kitchen, a cosy lounge and a beautifully manicured garden.
Due to the covid-19 restrictions in place in 2020, the couple had a second wedding in 2022, travelling to the Maldives for the occasion. Since the special occasion, it seems the relationship has gone from strength to strength and plenty of support has been sent the way of the Everton goalkeeper and Megan.
Reacting to the news of the birth, messages of congratulations were left by hundreds of people. Dani Dyer wrote “Oh how perfect!!! Congratulations to you both.”
Chelsee Healey added: “Beautiful and lil princesses name”, Curtis Jones’ partner and new mum herself, Saffie Khan said “Congratulations”.
Other loving messages were “Beautiful pictures, so happy for you all! Congratulations” and “Congratulations Mr and Mrs Pickford.” Further responses included “Congratulations to you both her name is absolutely perfect she will be so loved by you all” and “beautiful, congratulations to you both.”
On the pitch, Pickford has consistently played his part in making sure Everton avoid relegation. In 2017, he joined the club as Everton’s Club-record signing after sealing a switch from Sunderland. He initially signed a five-year contract after the Blues agreed a fee with Sunderland for an initial £25 million.
