This week, BBC viewers will get an insight into life at Pickle Cottage as Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are opening their doors for the first time.
In their new fly-on-the-wall reality series, fans will see the duo’s everyday lives alongside their children, Zach, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle.
The pair first became a couple in 2016 and have since had three children together, got married and renovated a quaint cottage in Essex. Although they made their relationship official almost a decade ago, they first met many years before.
In a clip ahead of their BBC show, Joe recalls his first memory of meeting his future bride, and it’s less than romantic. The pair met following Stacey’s triumph on I’m A Celebrity in 2010 when Joe was hosting the spin-off show.

Detailing the moment, he told the camera: “I was like a weird little stalker watching from afar. The day that she won the jungle, I remember thinking, ‘Right, I’m going to meet her now’.
“The sun was lit from the back of her head, she was walking across the bridge, the wind was blowing. I was thinking, ‘this is like a film!’ Then she came over, and the first thing that hit me was the smell.
“I’ve never smelt nothing like it in all my life! I’ve smelt so many people coming out of that jungle and thought, ‘Oh, they smell a bit pongy’. Stacey was on a different level!”

As Joe recalled his first impressions of Stacey, the Loose Women star was seen in the garden with her daughter Rose, detailing the moment they met. While she pushed Rose around in a pram, Stacey explained that Joe made her laugh a lot.
She added: “He was so funny and so silly, he made mummy laugh a lot. Then, I came home, and he stayed out there because he was still working, and we spoke to each other on the phone every single day.
“Then, he came home, and Daddy said, ‘I’ll come over,’ so he came around for Friday night dinner and met the whole family, and he hasn’t left since Rose. I haven’t been able to shake him.”

Despite Joe’s hilarious reaction to first meeting Stacey, he confessed to the camera he used to spend a lot of time worrying about who he would end up with.
In a sweet moment he said: “If I only knew I was going to meet Stacey, I could’ve relaxed a little bit.”
Fans have been anticipating the BBC show since it was announced. One fan on Twitter said: “SOOOOO HAPPY!!! Cannot wait for TOMORROW NIGHT!! as the hilarious @StaceySolomon and @realjoeswash let the cameras in for a brand new reality series on @BBCOne What an amazing watch it’s going to be.”
