TV star Jasmine Harman has been left feeling “embarrassed” after an incident that happened on a Spanish beach earlier this week. The A Place in the Sun presenter had been walking with her family and their pet dog when he decided to misbehave.
On Instagram yesterday, November 24, Jasmine said: “Yesterday, we were having a lovely afternoon together down on the seafront in Estepona and we decided to go and sit on the beach for a little while and walked the dog.
“He has a toy which he loves to fetch from the water, so we throw it into the sea and he will jump in and go for a little swim, bring it back and do it all over again. We were doing this for quite a while, then suddenly he didn’t want to go back in and wasn’t getting it back this time [from the water].”
Jasmine admitted the family didn’t know what to do and how to retrieve the toy, she continued: “None of us had our swimming things and I ended up stripping off to my underwear and going into the water to retrieve this.” As the presenter came back to shore and was drying off, her dog Astro, decided to run off.

She told followers “you won’t believe it”, as Astro approached a couple and stole their lunch. Jasmine added: “Oh my God, it could not have been more embarrassing.” It has been an eventful few weeks for Jasmine as their renovation series focusing on their journey in Estepona came to an end.
The Channel 4 series documented the struggles and joy of the family as they settled into their Spanish property. The episode on November 11 took distressing turn when Jasmine’s husband Jon was filmed being rushed to hospital after falling ill. In the scenes, doctors informed Jon that he had suffered a heart attack.
Earlier in the episode, Jon had revealed that heart problems are prevalent in his family. His sister Jo passed away unexpectedly in 2016 at just 40 due to sudden arrhythmic death syndrome. A few weeks later in May, Jon experienced his own heart attack.
Since the incident, which happened in May, Jasmine has said: “Jon is fine now and he is back working. I know this sounds strange but even with the background of what could have happened and worrying he could have died, it makes you feel lucky he just had a mild heart attack and everything is fine.”
She described her recent journey to the beach with the family as: “blowing the cobwebs off after a BIG weekend”, adding that it “strangely feels quite good” getting back to normal after the most incredible but “chaotic” three weeks.

Jasmine turned 50 on November 15, with the family celebrating by throwing a party. The 50-year-old shared snaps from the special occasion with Instagram followers yesterday. She said: “50 never felt so good.
“Just received the photos from the photographer and oh my goodness, what a night! Some big dance moves. HUGE thank you to all of my friends and family who came from near and far to celebrate half a century with me. A weekend I’ll never forget. Love you all. Thanks to these guys too [her family] for making it extra special!
The TV host first joined the popular property programme in 2004 and has since appeared in over 200 episodes. Away from the screen, Jasmine is married to Jon Boast and the couple tied the knot in 2009.
They met on the set of A Place in the Sun, as Jon was the director of photography. Jon and Jasmine share a son called Albion and a daughter, Joy.
