Kelvin Fletcher is back on ITV with a second series of his reality farming show Fletcher’s Family Farm
Former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher is sharing his authentic farming experiences with viewers in his new ITV show ‘Fletcher’s Family Farm’. The show broadcasts every Sunday morning on ITV1, offering a glimpse into his family life living in the shadow of the Roaches, near Leek, over the next eight weeks.
The programme provides an intimate look at Kelvin and his spouse Liz Marsland as they build their own agricultural enterprise from square one, detailing both their triumphs and challenges. The couple resides on their expansive 120-acre farm alongside their four young offspring.
Audiences have watched Kelvin, who once portrayed the character of farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, embrace his actual farming duties. It seems he’s effortlessly adapted to the rural profession.
Regarding his newfound vocation, Kelvin asserts: “I can’t imagine me or my family doing anything else. Farming is a part of my DNA now.”

Hailing from Oldham, Kelvin swapped urban life for a rustic existence on the Staffordshire-Cheshire border following his success on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, where he emerged victorious alongside his dance partner Oti Mabuse, reports the MEN.
Together, Kelvin and his wife Liz embarked on their pastoral journey at a farm situated within the Peak District National Park in 2022, balancing agriculture with parenting their children – Marnie, aged eight, five year old Milo, and toddlers Mateusz and Maximus who are two. After making a splash with its initial series, ‘Fletcher’s Farm’ has been renewed, with series 2 premiering from Sunday, November 24 at 11am.
Where is the Fletcher farm?
The Fletchers are well-settled on their 120-acre farmstead in Wincle, between Leek and Macclesfield – with breathtaking vistas of the Roaches rocky outcrop and the Peak District National Park.
Kelvin Fletcher has openly shared his joy about the family’s rural life, saying earlier: “It has been everything we wanted and more. It’s chaotic but we thrive on it. I’ve always loved the outdoors and countryside and I always had a bit of a dream and a vision of bringing up our family on our own farm. Who would have thought it? Playing a farmer and now here I am.”

Can you visit the farm?
While the Fletchers live out their pastoral dream, their farm isn’t open to visitors on a day-to-day basis. Nonetheless, last Christmas, Kelvin and Liz arranged a special event open to ticket-holders.
In an exciting update for fans, Kelvin and Liz held an open event this Spring for lambing season, which Kelvin recalled as “an amazing experience”. He mentioned: “We got to meet so many people and realise how much of a connection we have had.”
They once again welcomed visitors for an Easter Adventure in 2024. As for the upcoming festive period, they have yet to confirm any plans for Christmas 2024. Updates about visiting opportunities are shared on their Instagram @fletchersonthefarm.
