Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank has been spotted in Liverpool following the opening of a new veterinary clinic. The actor is best known for his role as Billy Mayhew on the ITV soap, since he first arrived in Weatherfield in 2014. The vicar soon became a fan favourite and has been at the heart of one of the show’s major storylines.
Last year, Billy’s onscreen husband Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) died in heartbreaking scenes after a battle with motor neurone disease (MND). Recent storylines have explored how Billy has struggled to deal with the impact of his partner’s death.
On Saturday April 5, Daniel travelled to Liverpool alongside his partner Jordan. Animal Trust opened its latest clinic in Knotty Ash and was formally opened by Daniel this weekend, alongside his dogs, Jean, Doris, and Colin, who are Animal Trust patients.
The company reinvests the majority of its profits to improve its services. CEO and Founder of Animal Trust. Owen Monie said: “We believe every pet deserves compassionate, high-quality care. There’s a common misconception that excellent veterinary treatment must come with a high price tag – and that simply isn’t true.
“We already care for over 100,000 pets annually, andour Liverpool clinic will be a vital part of our mission to support even more animals and their owners.”

During his visit, Daniel supported the organisation’s mission to make high-quality veterinary care more accessible. Located in Knotty Ash, the modern facility offers a full range of veterinary services including consultations, diagnostics, surgery, neutering, dental care, and laboratory testing.
Clients also benefit from Animal Trust’s wider network, which supports out-of-hours and complex cases. The new Liverpool clinic is now open and welcoming new patients.
Away from the screen, Daniel recently starred in Figaro: The Musical on the London Palladium stage. He is in a relationship with Jordan Coulthard, after they became ‘Instagram official’ in July 2023. The couple regularly attend charity events, as Daniel is a long-standing ambassador the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The actor, who grew up in Warwickshire, regularly shares snaps of his life away from the Cobbles to his 169,000 Instagram followers. It is clear Daniel has a love for dogs, often posing for photographs with his three dachshunds.

Daniel often shares snaps of his three dogs on social media. Last year, he posted a photograph oh himself with his dachshund Jean. He wrote: “Jeans latest visit to the @animaltrustvets. These guys have literally saved her life.
“The corporate vets that all of my dogs were with before charged me thousands of pounds for their care. Specifically with Jean, their care/advice/medication made zero difference to her condition.
“This practice has totally transformed jeans life with very little cost. Give your pets a wonderful Christmas gift and ditch your corporate owned veterinary practice.”
