Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win returned to our screens on Saturday night, but viewers were left baffled by a question on the quiz show – with many admitting they’d never heard of it
Viewers of Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win were left feeling a sense of déjà vu after the first episode of the highly-anticipated new series aired. The popular quiz show returned for its fourth season on Saturday (January 4) evening, with fans still reeling from the previous series’ record-breaking £1 million jackpot – the biggest ever in Limitless Win history.
With expectations soaring, new contestants are now preparing to climb the limitless ladder in hopes of securing their own windfall over six hour-long episodes, airing on Saturdays and Sundays for three weeks. The unique game show format features an infinite money ladder, offering participants the chance to win an unprecedented unlimited jackpot.

The first pair to tackle the Limitless Ladder were Joe, 34, and his sister-in-law Jo, 38, who revealed they had been practising by measuring items in the supermarket with a tape measure and were dreaming of splashing out on a lavish family holiday if they struck it rich. They breezed through the first question, but the second one proved to be a brain-teaser – not just for them but for many viewers tuning in at home too.
The tricky question asked: “According to its product specification, a ‘Welsh Leek’ has a minimum total length of how many centimetres.” Some fans were left scratching their heads, with a bunch admitting they’d never even heard of a Welsh Leek before.

Taking to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, viewers expressed their bewilderment over the puzzling question, with one tweeting: “#LimitlessWin two questions that you could know after the leak question that almost nobody would know.”, reports the Mirror.
“Never heard of a Welsh Leek interesting question,” joked one user, while another was baffled: “What on earth is a Welsh leek? ” The debate heated up as Joe confidently suggested it was ‘at least 20cm’, though his sister-in-law recommended a more conservative guess. After some deliberation, they settled on 20cm.
But hosts Ant and Dec had to break the news that this wasn’t correct, with Ant revealing: “The exact answer is 28cm.”
