Next week, Emmerdale fans will hear wedding bells as Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) prepare to wed. But true to soap drama, John worries his ex-lover Aidan Moore might disrupt the big day.

On the wedding day, John is comforted by his half-sister Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) while preparing. However, John is haunted by nightmares about being arrested for Nate Robinson’s murder, especially as the lake where he hid the body is scheduled for dredging—a task ironically triggered by John himself.
When Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) confirms the dredging has started, John panics and tries to flee, but Aaron stops him, thinking it’s just nerves. After Aaron leaves, John hides near the lake and receives a reassuring text from Aaron just as the dredging is called off.

John decides to go ahead with the wedding, but then Aidan’s mother arrives with news that Aidan has awakened from a coma and is asking for John. Throughout the week, John’s nightmares and worries about Aidan’s potential disruption build—will the couple manage to say “I do”?
Danny Miller first joined Emmerdale as Aaron in 2008. After five years, he left to pursue other roles, including a part in crime drama Scott and Bailey, but returned in 2014. He took another break seven years later, during which he won on I’m A Celebrity. In 2023, he reprised the role again.

Off-screen, Danny enjoys family life. He married childhood sweetheart Steph Jones in 2022 after meeting her at school and dating since 2019. Danny proposed during a 2021 trip to St Lucia for his 30th birthday. Soon after, Steph surprised them both by becoming pregnant naturally, despite planning IVF.
The couple now has two children, including a daughter born two years later. Danny shared a touching video of their son Albert meeting his baby sister.

Danny comes from a family with a famous dad—Vince Miller, known as the “king of comperes,” a legendary figure in Manchester’s VIP scene, despite Danny being a Liverpool FC supporter. Vince’s showbiz career spanned 65 years, mingling with stars like Johnny Mathis and Shirley Bassey.
Vince retired at 82, saying he wanted to step down while still at his best.

Besides acting, Danny has started narrating audiobooks, including some favorites of his son Albert. In July 2023, he announced the release of “Albert’s Bookshelf,” audiobooks read by him, aimed at parents who want to enjoy storytime with their children.
