Influencer denies Tommy Fury fathered her baby as speculation swirls following Molly-Mae Hague split

Influencer Lissie Rhodes has responded to swirling internet rumours linking Tommy Fury to her newborn child.

Following the surprising announcement on Wednesday that Fury and Molly-Mae Hague had ended their five-year relationship, speculation about the breakup’s cause spread rapidly online.

In her emotional statement, Hague expressed disbelief about their split, stating, “I never imagined our story would end, especially not in this way.”

The remark led to a flurry of unfounded rumours, with some suggesting that Fury had been unfaithful. Among the baseless claims was the claim that Fury was the father of Lissie Rhodes’ baby, who was born just last week.

Addressing the gossip, Rhodes, who is family friends with Fury, took to TikTok to firmly deny the allegations, declaring, “Tommy Fury is not my baby’s dad.”

To further put the rumours to rest, she shared a photo on her Instagram stories featuring herself holding her three-day-old baby, with a man presumed to be her partner lying beside them.

The image was captioned “Happy family,” signalling her intent to quash the speculation.

Rhodes’ father, Ryan, who is a boxing coach and manager who frequently works with the Fury family, also expressed his disbelief at the unfounded claims in a post on Instagram, adding his voice to those trying to clear the air surrounding the situation.

In an Instagram video, he shared: “It’s ten to seven and I’m on my way to the gym and I can’t believe what I’m reading. I can’t believe it. The speculation, the hearsay, tittle tattle.

“Guys, Lissie, Barry, and our Shakur are so happy. So happy. We’ve got a life, you need to get one. Let’s have it!”

Hague announced the split with Fury in an emotional Instagram statement, expressing that she was “extremely upset” about the end of their five-year romance.

The 25-year-old took to Instagram to share the news, admitted she “never imagined our story would end” while Fury followed suit with his own statement half an hour later, admitting he was “heartbroken” by the end of their relationship.

She wrote on her Story: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.

“After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.”

Hague did not give the reason behind their shock break-up but did address their daughter Bambi.

She continued: “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.

“Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x”.

Following Hague’s statement, Fury shared his own to his Instagram Story echoing her sentiments.

He wrote: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi & I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.

“Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”

It has since emerged that Hague had been “solo parenting” and “struggling” just days before announcing her split from Fury.

In a candid video shared on YouTube, the Love Island star shared that she had been caring for their daughter Bambi alone while her fiancé was away working.
