A Geordie Shore star has announced the devastating family news her dog has died. Chloe Ferry shared a picture on Instagram of her holding French Bulldog, Ivy’s, paw.
An emotional message uploaded by the reality TV star said: “I can’t put into words how heartbroken I am to lose my baby girl so unexpectedly. I’ve had the worst night of my life last night, with the worst possible outcome, losing Ivy my first dog who has seen me go through my worst times and always been there for me when I’ve needed her.
“She was the most caring loving dog and I’m absolutely devastated that she was taking from me so soon and so unexpected. RIP my girl, you will never be forgotten.” A crying emoji was added at the end of the statement.
Before the heartbreaking announcement, Chloe had shared a photo from the vets, writing: “I’m never away from this place”, with other messages including: “Please help! Back at the vets with Ivy and she hasn’t been right this last month and we can’t get to the bottom of what it is. She’s just not the same dog, she’s not eating as much and her eyes don’t look the same and she keeps being sick.”
Chloe first appeared on Geordie Shore in 2015, making her debut in the tenth series. On January 13 2017, she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house taking part in the nineteenth series. The TV star also appeared in the second series of Super Shore in 2016 for one episode with another Geordie Shore cast member, Kyle Christie.
Many supportive messages have been sent after the devastating news. I’m A Celeb and TikTok star, GK Barry, said: “So sorry for your loss” and Nathan from Geordie Shore added “She will be with Buddy now, he will look after her for you, I know he will. Omg Chloe. No. My heart is broken for you.”
Sophie Kasaei wrote: “Oh no this has upset me. I know how much your fur babies meant to you. I’m sending you so much love my Chloe” and Wayne Lineker commented “Sending you hugs. I know how much you care.”
Another Geordie Shore star has suffered a devastating family loss this week. Holly Hagan announced yesterday, October 21, that her 19-year-old sister had died. Holly is famed for being an original cast member of the MTV hit reality show.
In an emotional statement uploaded to Instagram, Holly said: “It is with immeasurable grief and sadness that our baby girl, my baby sister Darci Rose passed away peacefully holding my hand surrounded by family & her best friends.
“She was never in any pain. The last 4 days have been something I hope no family ever has to go through. We are traumatised in every sense of the word. One day we will share Darci’s story.”
The Geordie Shore star said she is forever grateful for how hospital staff treated her sister. She wrote: “To the incredible ambulance crew, and everyone at Manchester royal infirmary ASE & ICU, thank you so much for giving my sister the absolute best chance.
“Because of you all we have had the opportunity to hold her hand, stroke her hair and feel her heart beating for the last time. We will forever be grateful for the way you have looked after her and us throughout this unimaginable process.”
