Federico Chiesa’s wife told to ‘relax’ as Liverpool forward finally breaks his silence.

Federico Chiesa’s wife was supported by Liverpool fans after her husband spoke for the first time since the Carabao Cup final. The Italian forward was Liverpool’s only signing last summer but has found game time limited.

Chiesa picked up a muscle injury at the start of the campaign and has had to compete with five other forwards. Nevertheless, his goal in the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday against Newcastle United sparked hopes of an unlikely comeback.

The reds ultimately lost the Wembley final 2-1 due to a poor performance against the Magpies who took a two goal lead with goals from Dan Burn and Alexander Isak.

That was only Chiesa’s 11th appearance of the season. Indeed, he has made just three brief substitute appearances in the Premier League totalling less than half-an-hour. In all competitions, the forward has only three starts.

Away from the pitch, Chiesa is married to Lucia Bramani. The couple married in a stunning ceremony at the Grosseto Cathedral in Tuscany last July. Lucia moved to the UK with Federico when the Italian forward agreed to join Liverpool from Juventus in an £11m transfer at the end of August.

Lucia is a model represented by Elite Model World. During her career, she has worked with brands such as Pollini, Bikini Lovers and Emporio Armani. Lucia has since been spotted in the UK with the partners of other Liverpool stars and in the stands during matches.

Lucia is also a psychology graduate from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. She regularly shares updates on her personal life to her 263,000 followers on Instagram.

In Chiesa’s latest Instagram post published yesterday, he spoke for the first time after the final. He posted a picture of himself from the final and in the caption, tagged Liverpool FC and added “#YNWA”. In the comments section, Lucia showed her support to her husband with 14 emojis of a drooling face.

The post generated over 250 likes with many Liverpool fans delighted to see her unwavering support. One replied: “Your husband is the greatest thing there is.” Another joked: “Relax Lucia LOL.” A third said: “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Lucia appears to be enjoying life on Merseyside so far. In her latest Instagram post published last month, she posted a series of pictures including one of her at the Albert Dock in Liverpool city centre.

She was also photographed walking on the famous Anfield turf after a home game earlier this month. There was a clip of her and Chiesa in a supermarket together too.

In the accompanying caption to the post, Lucia simply wrote: “Lately.” The post received many likes and supportive comments. This included one from Chiesa himself. The Italian footballer said “Beautiful” along with a series of red heart emojis.

Liverpool’s next game is the Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield on April 2. The reds are currently 12 pints clear at the top of the Premier League table.
