Federico Chiesa was sent a heartfelt message by his wife as they celebrated a special occasion. Chiesa played a minor role last season as Liverpool became Premier League champions once again. The Italian forward was signed by the Reds last summer and was the only addition made to the squad during that transfer window.
He made just 14 appearances after picking up a muscle injury at the beginning of the campaign. However, his hard work on the pitch and his chant has made him a cult hero among Liverpool supporters. Away from the pitch, he is married to Lucia Bramani.
Lucia is a model represented by Elite Model World and has worked with brands such as Pollini, Bikini Lovers and Emporio Armani. She is also a psychology graduate from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. Lucia regularly shares updates on her personal life to her 262,000 followers on Instagram.
The couple married in a stunning ceremony at the Grosseto Cathedral in Tuscany on July 20 last year. In an Instagram post yesterday, Lucia marked the couple’s one year anniversary.
She posted a series of black and white images from the wedding. In the caption of the post, Lucia posted a heartfelt message to Chiesa.
She said: “Today, one year ago. Yes, yes, yes. And yes again. I love you. Forever.”
The post received over 40,000 likes. Lucia was sent many messages of support in the comments section. Estelle Behnke, who is dating former Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, said: “Beautiful.” Natalia Becker, wife of Alisson, left a heart emoji.
Other friends and fans left comments on the post. One said: “Happy one year anniversary, you’re amazing.” Another added: “Best wishes, beautiful.”
Lucia appears to be enjoying life on Merseyside. Lucia was spotted on the pitch celebrating after Liverpool were handed the Premier League trophy on May 25 following the Reds’ last game of the season.
She posted a picture of herself wearing a retro Liverpool shirt with Chiesa and said: “I’m so proud of you, always and forever.”
In an Instagram post back in February, Lucia posted a series of pictures including one of her at the Albert Dock in Liverpool city centre. She was also photographed walking on the famous Anfield turf after a home game. There was a clip of her and Chiesa in a supermarket together too.
Liverpool have flown out to Japan as part of their preseason schedule but Chiesa has been left behind on Merseyside. He has a minor injury, despite scoring in the 5-0 behind-closed-doors friendly win over Championship side Stoke City at the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby yesterday.
Liverpool take on AC Milan in Hong Kong next Saturday before moving on to Japan where they will face Yokohama F Marinos the following Wednesday.
With no senior international tournaments this summer, Liverpool have an almost full-strength squad from which to choose meaning that, unlike in previous years, there are limited slots for Academy players.
