The Strawbridge family have shared an exciting update, just weeks after announcing the much-loved Channel 4 show Escape to the Chateau will be returning to our screens. Dick and Angel Strawbridge are known for appearing on the renovation show, which aired in 2016 after the couple purchased a French castle in 2015.
The reality television series followed Dick, Angel and their family as they bought and renovated the 19th-century property in France, while raising two children and starting a business hosting weddings and other events. Over the years, viewers loved watching the family transform the property to their liking.
Fans were delighted last month when it was announced the show would be returning, with series 10 now in production. A new update has been provided by the family ahead of the new episodes.
On Instagram yesterday, the official Instagram account of the Strawbridge family shared a picture of Dick and Angel standing in the snow, in front of their French home and other pictures of their children, Arthur and Dorothy. The post was captioned: “Hello to you on this Super Sunday!
“Christmas came early this weekend at the Chateau…Not only did it snow and Arthur and Dorothy got to catch snowflakes with their tongues.
“We got to film something rather special with the perfect weather conditions! We can’t wait to share it with you. Have a lovely evening!”
Viewers of the Channel 4 show commented and showed their support for the family. Many fans couldn’t believe how grown up the children were, after appearing on our screens when they were young.
One comment said: “Oh my goodness how grown up are the kids now” and another added “Such beautiful pictures, Arthur and Dorothy are growing up so quick.”
A further reply joked “Are you two shrinking, or are these kids getting real grown up” and others wrote “Your family is growing up. Happy Holidays” and “Cannot wait to watch the Strawbridge Family Christmas magic again!!! Thank you so much for coming back to us!”
