Emmerdale actress Isabel Hodgins shared some exciting relationship news over the weekend. She married her partner Adam Whitehead, revealing the news with a social media post of two black and white polaroid pictures.
The two camera shots show Isabel and Adam with their hands on top of each other, showing off their new weddings rings. The second was an adorable picture of the ITV star and new husband embracing each other with a kiss on their wedding night.
The actress is best known for playing the role of Victoria Sugden in the fictional farm. The engagement was first announced in November 2023.
When she shared the news of her engagement, a video clip of Adam proposing was shared with social media followers.
The clip shows the couple having dinner, before Adam popped the question and the two then celebrated with a kiss across the table.
Alongside the video, Isabel said: “The most incredible night of my life. I said yes to marrying my best friend. My kind, sweet, patient and generous perfect person. I can’t wait to spend forever with you.”
As the news of the marriage was announced, co-stars and friends congratulated the newly-weds. Daisy Campbell who played Amelia Spencer commented “So happy for you Iz” and Jai Sharmer star, Chris Bisson wrote “Congratulations.”
The supportive messages continued as Mandy Dingle actress, Lisa Riley also commented “congratulations”, alongside love heart emojis.
Another co-star loving the news was Belle Dingle actress, Eden Taylor-Draper. Her comment read “Screaming, crying and throwing up.”
It wasn’t only colleagues sharing congratulations with the actress. Fans of Emmerdale were also among the comments.
One supporter wrote “Yessssss!!! Congratulations this is amazing!!” and another added “Awwwww Huge congratulations to you both. STUNNING PHOTO.”
Isabel has been playing Victoria on Emmerdale since 2006 when the role was recast. She was nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the TV Choice and TV Quick awards in 2007. In 2008, she was nominated for ‘Best Young Actress’ at the Inside Soap Awards.
Last year was a big year away from the screen for the Victoria Sugden star. The couple announced that they had moved in together, but the latest update is the biggest relationship update they have shared together.
