Emmerdale might be preparing for a massive soap plot twist with the return of Andy Sugden.
Andy, played by Kelvin Fletcher, first graced the soap in 1996 and quickly became a hit with viewers as the village’s heartthrob.
Throughout his time on the show, Andy was central to many high-drama storylines. From his numerous failed love affairs to fathering Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) with Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb), his stint in the Dales was anything but dull.
However, after years of chaos, Andy chose to flee the village in 2016 when he was wrongly accused of accidentally shooting Lawrence White (John Bowe), a scheme orchestrated by Chrissie (Louise Marwood).

With the assistance of his half-brother Robert (Ryan Hawley), Andy managed to go into hiding. Since then, Andy has been off the radar, but fans speculate that this could change soon, reports the Daily Star.
As regular viewers will know, Robert is currently embroiled in a major storyline after his husband Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) relocated to the Dales following a lengthy prison sentence for bank robbery.
While incarcerated, Kev tied the knot with Robert, and now that he’s free, he hopes they can enjoy marital bliss. Robert has since rekindled his relationship with Kev, much to the dismay of Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).

However, Monday’s episode (October 27) took a chilling turn when Kev revealed his darker side. During the episode, Robert arrived at Aaron’s flat, leading to a tense face-off over who was the better match for Robert.
The drama intensified when Kev threatened Aaron, saying he would kill him if he meddled in his love life. Now, with Kev revealing his true nature, could Andy Sugden be making a return to Emmerdale?

Fans certainly seem to think so, speculating that he might come back to rescue his half-brother Robert from Kev. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer expressed: “I don’t like Kev, don’t trust him one bit.” Another chimed in: “Get Andy Sugden back to sort him out.”
A third fan enthusiastically added: “Would so love this!” Another suggested that Andy might return upon the birth of his granddaughter, commenting: “Or maybe when Sarah’s baby is born.”
