Natalie Cassidy, known for her role as Sonia Fowler on EastEnders, is already making waves with a new Channel 4 show, despite her character not having left Albert Square. The actress debuted her latest venture, “What’s The Big Deal: Britain’s Best Buys?” where she gets the lowdown on some of the UK’s most talked-about products, from LED facemasks to lion’s mane mushrooms.
In the show, Natalie enlists the help of experts and six British families who test out the products at home, giving their unfiltered thoughts on whether these items are worth the investment. But it wasn’t just the families who were dishing out their verdicts; Natalie’s own daughters, Eliza, 15, and Joanie, 8, shared their candid reviews of their mum’s new gig.

On her Instagram stories, Natalie captured a cosy moment in her living room, quizzing her youngest, Joan, about the show. Joan’s lukewarm reaction was simply, “It was okay.”
“Thank you darling,” Natalie replied before turning to Eliza for her take, which was much more positive, reports the Mirror.
“I thought it was good!” Eliza beamed. “I really liked it, I thought it was really good. Entertaining for the right audience,” she added, showing her support for her mum’s fresh endeavour.
Natalie Cassidy got a mixed bag of feedback from her daughters on her latest venture, with youngest Joan dubbing it “just ok.”

She tried to fish out a bit more praise asking, “Joan, just ok?” and was rewarded when Joan admitted it edged over her “other show”.
The actress gushed about her new gig, sharing: “My honest review from the girls,” paired with an eye-roll and heart emoji.
Delighted about her fresh role, Natalie revealed: “I am looking forward to getting to ask the questions we all want to know about must-have products. Like all of us, I love to try the latest things but as a busy mum what I really want to know is what lives up to the claims and what is the best deal?”
This telly update follows Natalie’s departure from EastEnders after 32 years. Overwhelmed with emotion, she expressed: “I feel extremely sad to be writing this, but also very excited. After another 11 solid years back on The Square, I have decided it’s time to move on to pastures new.
“EastEnders is in my bones so I will never forget where I started my career and I will continue to love the show. Thank you to Chris Clenshaw for the opportunity to be such a big part of the 40th anniversary – it’s an honour. See ya, Sonia, going but never forgotten.”
